Can You Trust Reviews?
What constitutes a bad experience when it comes to a bed and breakfast? What if one person's bad experience is a good experience for someone else? Is that possible? Of course. Say you find a bed and breakfast review from a person who stayed at the same bed and breakfast you just did. The review is a scathing one, explaining that the eggs were runny, the bed was lumpy and the service was awful. They don't recommend that bed and breakfast review and consider their bed and breakfast inn review a warning to anyone who may be thinking of staying there. However, you stayed at that same bed and breakfast, maybe at the same time, and you thought the eggs and bed were perfect. Could you then trust any other negative bed and breakfast reviews ever again?
As long as you take each bed and breakfast inn review with a grain of salt and you keep in mind that bad experiences are relative, you should be able to tell which bed and breakfast is worth your time. And, if you happen to visit a bed and breakfast and you have a good, or a bad, experience, leave a bed and breakfast inn review on their website, or on a local social website, or even on your own blog so that people know to avoid that particular establishment. If that sounds mean towards the inn keepers, consider it another way. Think of your bed negative bed and breakfast inn review as a lesson to the inn keepers that they should step up their game. Your review may be just what that inn needs to improve their quality so that they get more business and business referrals.
